Practitioner Mr. Sun Zhen's Current Whereabouts Unknown After Being Arrested in Beijing

Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Sun Zhen, had been a resident of Dehui City, Jilin Province. In 1999 he graduated from the China Political Science and Law University in Beijing. Because he has been steadfast in his belief of Falun Dafa, he was forced into homelessness to avoid further brutal persecution, yet he was still later captured.

On July 22, 2002, the police in Huairou County abducted a practitioner who was living with Sun Zhen in Changping County, Beijing while he was distributing truth-explaining literature. Under intense pressure from the police, he told the policemen Sun's name. When the police went to his address to arrest Sun, he had already left. However, the former house owners gave a report to the police, and the policemen from the State Protection Section of Huairou Public Security Bureau found his new address.

They took Sun Zhen and his girlfriend, as well as all their personal property, such as a computer, copier, cell phone, and various IDs and certificates to the Huairou Public Security Bureau. Sun Zhen was later sent to a Beijing brainwashing center. His girlfriend was locked up in the Huairou Detention Center for a month. They released her after they extorted a large sum of money from her parents.

The police have blockaded all the information about Sun, so we do not know his current location and situation. Although his family members called the Huairou Public Security Bureau many times, the police have never told them the truth about Sun. His elderly parents are very worried about him.
