Xu Zhihua, a teacher at Harbin Technical University, was arrested in September 2002. In March 2003, they illegally sentenced him to 10 years. Sun Zhifen, female, was illegally sentenced to 10 years.

On December 18, 2000, Chen Cuizhu, female, and several other practitioners went to Guangxi Province to clarify the truth about Falun Gong. The police illegally arrested and held them at Beihai Second Detention Center. In April 2003, they illegally sentenced Chen Cuizhu to 4 years and are sending her to Nanning City Forced Labor Camp.

Practitioners Lin Fei and Chen Shunian Leizhou City, Zhanjiang were arrested and taken from their homes and recently were sentenced to 3 years and 8 years respectfully.

On May 14, 2003, in order to achieve the "reform rate", police officers Wang Wei and Li Xiaofei at the 4^th squad of Jiutai Forced Labor Camp punched and kicked practitioner Wang Zhongfu, trying to force him to write a statement renouncing Falun Gong. Afterwards, Wang could not move his left arm, which was severely swollen. He had dizziness and vertigo and could not sit straight. An X-ray and CT scan found a humeral fracture on his left arm. The doctor said the best way to treat it was through surgery.

Around 6 a.m. July 4th, 2002, the police from Liaoyang County Police Department illegally arrested Falun Dafa practitioner Qu Yongjiu when he went downstairs to buy breakfast for his child. The police sentenced him to 3 years in Liaoyang Forced Labor Camp. Several months later, the personnel from the "610 Office" [Editor's note: a bureau specifically created by the Chinese government to persecute Falun Gong. It has absolute power over each level of administration in the Party, as well as over the political and judiciary branches] wanted to increase the sentence to 10 years. Qu Yongjiu is currently being detained at Liaoyang County Detention Center. The Evil sentenced him based on the Jiang regime's so-call laws that try to make right wrong, and wrong right, such as the law that says for distributing every 100 Dafa flyers or every one Dafa VCD a person would receive a 1 year sentence.

We hope that The World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong will pay attention to this matter.

On the evening of May 14, 2003, Li Shengshua led many plainclothes police to confiscate female Falun Dafa practitioner Tang Cengyan's residence card and illegally send Tang to Anqiu City Detention Center. Then they broke into female practitioner Tian Shuxia's home and arrested her family members as well as female practitioner Tian Yufen who was visiting her. Tian Shuxia escaped from the window only to be arrested later and brutally beaten. The police also confiscated a lot of Tian Shuxia's property, including a printing machine and some personal cash.

On June 3, 2003, the police arrested practitioner Wang Haiqing while she was on her way to pick up her child. They beat her such that she was bleeding from her mouth in front of her child because she shouted "Falun Dafa is good". Her child was scared and was crying. They also confiscated her home. We heard that another six practitioners were also illegally arrested.

On June 18, 2003, the police from Suizhong County arrested Wang Chengde and confiscated some Dafa materials.

In addition, on June 18, the Suizhong County Politics and Law Committee held a conference. They compiled a list of Falun Dafa practitioners and arranged a new round of persecution.

Li Yihou, in his 40s, was the president of a state-owned factory in Harbin. In March 2003, he escaped from police arrest. On April 1, the police arrested him again and are detaining him at Nangang Police Branch.

Qin Yulong, in his 60s, was a retired professor at Harbin Industrial University and lived at Minjiang Subdivision of Nangang District. In the beginning of May 2003, the police illegally arrested him on the campus and are detaining him at the Nangang Police Branch.

Other practitioners arrested included Li Yuzhen in her 60s from Daowai District.

[Guangdong Province] Police from the "610 Office" Illegally Arrest A Female Falun Dafa Practitioner

A practitioner named Luo worked in the Guangdong Province Justice Department's affiliated hospital. Recently, the police from the "610 Office" illegally arrested her.

Several of my colleagues have received facts about Falun Gong in their e-mails. Every time when they receive these e-mails, they would exchange and discuss them. Some of them secretly showed me these e-mails. They care very much about the truth regarding the staged "Tiananmen Square Self-immolation" which has become the common focus of the Chinese people's attention and doubt. As far as I know, the Chinese people are carefully reading their e-mail regarding Falun Gong and are moved by the truth.

At 4 a.m. on June 3, 2003, four police officers, including Zhou Tiegang, broke into practitioner Ning Xiwen's home. They arrested Xiwen and his wife, Song Shuqin, and are holding them at the county detention center.

Around 10 a.m. on June 11, Zhou Tiegang and his fellow police officers arrested practitioner Jiang Hong and detained her at the detention center.

Around noon on June 1, 2003, Yao Shuchun clarified the truth about Falun Gong in her neighborhood and was reported to the police. The police broke into her home and found Dafa materials, and they arrested her. Her whereabouts are unknown.

On June 16, 2003, the police at the Politics and Security Section at Hulan County Police Department sentenced six practitioners who were arrested in April 2003 to three years in a forced labor camp. These practitioners are: Yu Enxiang, Zhao Xiaodong, Yang Weihua, Xue Wei, Chen Zhong, and Li Yufan.

Recently, the police destroyed a Dafa materials-production site at Tonghua City and arrested four practitioners. They beat the practitioners and as a result, two practitioners had to be sent to the hospital. Details are unknown.

The police from Dongchang Police Department broke into practitioner Yin Fengcai's home and illegally arrested him without reason. He worked at the electricity service section of Tonghua City Railroad. The police still won't release him because he refuses to write a statement giving up his practice of Falun Gong.

The police illegally arrested practitioner Li Xiusong who worked at Tonghua City Railroad Communication Company and confiscated his home.

On the evening of February 14, 2003, nine practitioners from Xinhua and Tongde were arrested by the police for clarifying the truth about Falun Gong. The police also illegally confiscated a practitioner's private car. They released six practitioners after one month of illegal detention and sent practitioners Guan Xuehe and Han Yucheng to a forced labor camp for the second time.

Around 5 p.m. on June 16, 2003, the police from Erxianqiao Police Station and Chenghua District Police Department arrested practitioner Du Jie from his work place and illegally searched his office. On the same day, the police from Chenghua District Police Department illegally searched his home. Currently, they are holding Du at Pi County Detention Center in Chengdu City.

We recently heard that the Seventh Section of the Beijing Police Department, the section that used to be in charge of the so-called important cases, has been dismissed. Its affiliated detention center and functions including preliminary hearing and supervision have now been distributed to other sections. Its former office area, Banbuqiao at Xuanwu District in Beijing, will now become a building site for the "Criminal Investigation Center."

Many Falun Dafa practitioners used to be secretly detained at the Seventh Section of Beijing Police Department where they were held for a long time and tortured.

Since March 2003, the police from Wafangdian Police Department have been illegally holding female practitioners Zhang Lina, Zhang Chunduo, and Xie Xiuli at Wafangdian Detention Center.

Practitioner Chang Zhongbao has been sent to a brainwashing class at the Dalian Forced Labor Camp.

Female Falun Dafa practitioners Lu Zhenrong and Zhang Chunfang have been sent to a brainwashing class at Masanjia Forced Labor Camp.

Practitioners Li Bin and Sun Xiujuan (female) have been illegally sent to a brainwashing class at Dabei Prison in Shenyang.
