(Clearwisdom.net) June 30 at noon, the Global Coalition Against Article 23, Vancouver branch, organized a rally in front of the city Art Center building, supporting the people of Hong Kong's atteempt to protect democracy and autonomy by their march against Article 23 legislation. Many people who cared about the future of Hong Kong joined the rally. Local Chinese media such as World Journal, Tsingdao Daily, Mingbao, New Century TV Station and some English media reported the event.

The representatives of Global Coalition Against Article 23, Vancouver branch, and Falun Gong practitioners gave speeches at the rally, condemning the Hong Kong government's ignoring the will of the people and brutally pushing through the Article 23 legislation which will end Hong Kong's "One Country, Two Systems" policy in reality. The Hong Kong government's actions have damaged Hong Kong's prosperity and stability, and shaken the overseas Chinese and world's confidence in Hong Kong's future.

The attendees unanimously called on people to "Safeguard Hong Kong, safeguard conscience, stop Article 23 legislation immediately."
