July 22, 2003 (Clearwisdom.net) [Zhengzhou City, Henan Province] Police Illegally Arrest Dafa Practitioner
Ms. Gao Yuxia At around 12:30 p.m. on July 10, 2003, Ms. Gao Yuxia was reported to police
while clarifying the facts about Falun Gong. Police from the Wenming Road Police
Station forcibly grabbed the key to her home, entered her home and confiscated
her phone book containing numbers of many fellow practitioners. They also took a
large number of Dafa materials and books. The loss was tremendous. At present,
she is detained at the Heizhuang Detention Center. Dafa practitioners held at
that detention center have all refused to cooperate with the evil and are
staging a hunger strike to protest the persecution. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Personnel from the Daowai District Are
Again Abducting Dafa Practitioners and Sending Them to Brainwashing Classes In the last few days, personnel from the Daowai District in Harbin City have
again started to abduct Dafa practitioners and send them to brainwashing
classes. They plan to hold three sessions, with each session having over 30
practitioners in attendance. They have rented two floors at the Xiangyang Hotel
in the Daowai District for the first session. Every room there can hold five or
six people. The personnel claimed, "Any work can be stopped, except suppressing
Falun Gong." When attempting to abduct practitioners, they even lured people
with money, claiming that people who take the initiative to go to the
brainwashing class will be given an allowance of 20 Yuan* per day. * Yuan is the Chinese currency. The average monthly salary
of an urban worker in China is 500 Yuan. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Persecution of Practitioner Ms. Chen Liping from
Siwei Road In the year 2000, Ms. Chen Liping, in her 30's, was once detained for one
year at Wuhan City's Hewan Forced Labor Camp. With her righteous belief in Dafa,
she walked out of the labor camp in an open and dignified manner without signing
any "Guarantee Statements."* In June 2003, personnel from the street
administrative committee broke into her home and forced her to sign some printed
matter with Dafa-slandering content. She refused to do so, however one of her
family members signed it without her knowledge. When she realized this, she
immediately wrote a clarification letter and sent it to the street
administrative committee. The personnel from the committee and police from the
Siwei Road Police Station then took her to the Jiang'an Detention Center. She
has been detained for almost one month, and has suffered severe torture. The
police claimed, "If she refuses to be 'transformed' she will be sent to the
Shayang Forced Labor Camp." Telephone number of responsible work units: * The so-called "Guarantee Statement" is a statement to declare that he or
she is remorseful for practicing Falun Gong and guarantees not to practice Falun
Gong again, not to go to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong, and never again
associate with any Falun Dafa practitioners. Mr. Zhao Qian, 40, was an administrator for a "610 Office"* in a Dalian City
Development District's Police Department. During the years 1999 and 2000, he
closely followed Jiang's regime to persecute practitioners. He forcibly took
practitioners to brainwashing classes and sent them to labor camps. He was
directly involved with the persecution of about one hundred practitioners.
According to his own records, in 2000 he persecuted 70 to 80 practitioners. The
methods he used included 1. Dispatching people to track practitioners; 2.
Sending spies to infiltrate practitioners' groups; 3. Using "Collaborators"** to
persuade practitioners' relatives into collecting information, then forcing
practitioners to write the "Three Statements"*** to give up their practice, and
leading policemen to arrest practitioners and put them into brainwashing
classes; 4. Extorting money in amounts ranging from 5,000 Yuan to 10,000 Yuan
from those practitioners who went to Beijing to validate Dafa; 5. Confiscating
Dafa books; 6. Defaming practitioners. His persecution of practitioners was
rewarded with a promotion in 2002, when he left the "610 Office." Zhao Qian's phone: 86-13609861603 (cell) * "610 Office" is an agency specifically created to
persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in
the Party and all other political and judiciary systems. ** "Collaborators" are former
Falun Gong practitioners who have turned against Dafa due to brainwashing and
torture. *** The "Three Statements" - Practitioners are coerced under
brainwashing and torture to write these as proof that they have given up their
belief. Created by the "610 Office," the three statements consist of a letter of
repentance, a guarantee to never again practice Falun Gong, and a list of names
and addresses of all family members, friends and acquaintances who are
practitioners. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Arrest of Practitioner Ms. Su Hongying On April 7, 2003, Ms. Su Hongying was reported while she was making Dafa
truth-clarifying materials, and policemen from Jinzhou District's Zhanqian
Police Precinct arrested her. On the same day, Liu Ruihong, head of the
"Outwards Assignment Group," led policemen to ransack her home and confiscated
some truth-clarifying literature reprinted from Minghui.net. Su Hongying was
detained for 50 days at Jinzhou District's Sanli Prison. During her confinement
she was firm in Dafa and protested the illegal detention. She went on a hunger
strike for 11 days but was brutally force-fed. Later, she was sentenced to two
years of forced labor. On May 27 she was sent to Dalian City's Zhoushuizi Forced

Brainwashing Class It was reported that a so-called "Changsha City Law Education Training Center
for Hunan Province" was founded last year, which is actually a brainwashing
center to detain and persecute Falun Dafa practitioners. From its inception,
personnel in the center have brutally brainwashed practitioners. The center is
located in a suburban county of Changsha City, and dares not display its name on
the outside of the building. According to local people who work in the "610

City's "610 Office" Began to Persecute Dafa Practitioners Again Prior to July 20th, personnel from Wuhan City's "610 Office" and Wuhan City's
Police Department relentlessly persecuted Dafa practitioners again. Those Dafa
practitioners who are known to be illegally arrested include Ms. Zhang Xiuying,
Mr. Zhang Changming and Mr. Huang Hongqi. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Illegal Arrest of Dafa Practitioners Gong
Shuliang and Gong Zhiwen On July 16, Dafa practitioners Mr. Gong Liangshu and Mr. Gong Zhiwen, from
the No. 8 Community, Baosheng's No. 2 Team in Suining City were illegally
arrested when they were clarifying the truth at Shejiayakou. [Chongqing City] A Dafa Practitioner Walks out of an Evil Den with Righteous
Thoughts On July 1st, when a Dafa practitioner from Yongchuan County,
Chongqing City was clarifying the truth, he/she was illegally arrested and was
later brutally beaten up and interrogated under torture by personnel from
Yongchuan City's "610 Office." Under Master's merciful protection, this fellow
practitioner walked out of the evil den with righteous thoughts.
