(Clearwisdom.net) July 1^st report: Dafa practitioner Ms. Jiang Shulan was recently tortured to death in Da'an City Detention Center in Jilin Province.

Ms. Jiang Shulan was 55 years old. In May 2002, thugs from the Politics and Security Section in Da'an City Police Department arrested her unlawfully, because she went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa. She was illegally sentenced to two years of forced labor. In June 2002, she was sent to the Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp in Changchun City, where she was detained and tortured. She was forced to work more than 15 hours daily. Because she was exceptionally healthy, the guards forced her to do heavy manual labor. In late December 2002, she was picked up by people from Da'an City Police Department and was given another heavy sentence. After six months of incarceration at Da'an City Detention Center, on June 10, 2003, her family received a notice of her death.

We don't known at this point what tortures were used on Jiang Shulan at this detention center. The details await further investigation.
