Practitioner Yan Huawei Suffers from Torture in Changchun

(Clearwisdom.Net)

Falun Gong practitioner Yan Huawei was found missing in September 2002. The police from the Zhengyang Police Station abducted him while he was making calls from a phone booth. At the police station, a group of four to five young officers in their 20's beat him for over two hours, distorting his face . Then they sent him to the Luyuan District Police Department, where policemen Chen Long, Yuan Dachuan and others tortured him with the tiger bench (see illustration on http://www.clearwisdom.net/emh/articles/2001/11/24/16156.html). They forced his arms from over his head from behind his back until he passed out from the pain.

Mr. Yan was seriously injured and is still being held in the Third Detention Center in Shuangyang. His eyes haven't recovered from the torture and the bruises on his body are still visible. The perpetrators who abused him, officers Chen and Yuan, remain at large.
