A Dafa Practitioner's Solemn Declaration

With the progress of Fa-rectification, and especially after studying Teacher's latest lectures, I have enlightened to the requirement of rectifying myself strictly, and eliminating bad things in my every thought and every word and action. Now I'll declare a few things I have done in the path of my own cultivation that did not conform to Dafa, and declare all these actions as void. I'll completely eliminate unrighteous elements in my own thoughts, as well as all evil factors within the range of my field.

1. On July 20, 1999, under the illegal detention and coercion of the local police department, the Ministry of Organization, the Economy and Trade Committee, and my work unit, I wrote a "Guarantee Statement"* against my conscience. This deed seriously violated Dafa and is what a cultivator following "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" absolutely shouldn't do. I deeply regret it. I let Teacher and Dafa down. To thoroughly rectify myself in the depths of my thoughts, now I declare that as void. I resolutely deny and completely eliminate all of the evil's arrangements.

2. In August 1999, under pressure in a forced brainwashing class that my work unit held, I wrote one "reflection and thoughts material," statement, thus violating Dafa with evasive methods. I actually cooperated with the evil's persecution and did what a Dafa practitioner shouldn't. Now I declare this as void.

3. Due to repeatedly going to Beijing to appeal for Dafa between 1999 and 2001, I was detained by the detention center of the Beijing Police Department, the local government's liaison office in Beijing and the district detention center. During the detention, I cooperated with the evil in allowing myself to be body searched, photographed, and handcuffed. I also filled out a form and signed it, and recited the prison rules. I now declare that all these words and actions, and every thought that didn't conform to Dafa, are completely void.

The above items are where I haven't walked my path righteously in my cultivation. I deeply regret that I have left a stain on the path of my cultivation. I must take this as a profound lesson. From now on I'll redouble my efforts to make up for the loss I caused Dafa, be strict with myself, completely negate the old forces' arrangements, become a truly qualified Dafa practitioner, and satisfactorily complete one Dafa practitioner's historical mission.

* Guarantee Statement is a statement to declare that he or she is remorseful for practicing Falun Gong and guarantees not to practice Falun Gong again, not to go to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong, and never again associate with any Falun Dafa practitioners.
