Missouri Falun Gong Practitioners Present US Senator Christopher Bond with "Certificate of Appreciation" (photo)


(Clearwisdom.net) After visiting with US Senator Christopher Bond's Legislative Assistant, Falun Gong practitioners were also invited to attend an Open House Breakfast to meet the senior Senator from the state of Missouri. Towards the end of the meeting, when Senator Bond asked if anyone wanted to raise any questions, a Vietnamese-American Falun Gong practitioner from Missouri raised her hand and said, "Senator Bond, we want to thank you for the support you have given to Falun Gong." The practitioner then presented the Senator a framed certificate of appreciation from Falun Gong practitioners. The Senator gladly accepted the certificate and said that he is happy to do what he can to help the persecuted Falun Gong practitioners.

On September 25, 2002, Senator Bond made remarks on the Senate floor praising Falun Gong and condemning the Beijing regime's persecution of Falun Gong.
