Police Ask, "Why Do You Have to Be Good People?"

Since 2001, police in Boye County, Baoding City, Hebei Province have been holding brainwashing classes to persecute Dafa practitioners. Their purpose is to extort money from Dafa practitioners. They can arrest people at any time, without any reason or legal procedure.

Once a Dafa practitioner questioned a policeman named Wang Qingfa: "Does the Party allow people to speak out the truth?" He replied, "Why would it not allow people to tell the truth?" The practitioner said, "Ok then. I'll tell you the truth." Wang Qingfa was scared and waved his hand, "No! No! Sometimes the Party does not allow people to speak the truth."

Another practitioner clarified the truth to the police, saying, "We strive to be good people, yet you detain us here. Is this reasonable? You have the words 'Protecting Human Rights' written on the wall. Where are our human rights?" A policeman guffawed and said, "There're no human rights for people like you guys." Another policeman said, "Why do you have to be good people?"
