A Brief Summary of Lawless Government Departments' Persecution of Dafa Practitioners in Qingdao City, Shandong Province

1. Qingdao City Police Department Anti-[slanderous term omitted] Division. This division is in charge of coordinating, directing and planning the arrest of all Dafa practitioners in Qingdao City and the surrounding area. In Qingdao City, this division can direct and dispatch officers from four district police departments and more than 60 police stations to abduct Dafa practitioners. In 2001 and 2002, the Dafa material sites in Qingdao City were destroyed twice and dozens of practitioners were illegally arrested. This persecution was directed and controlled by this division.

Names of thugs: division head: Qi Dazhuang, deputy head: Zhang Yong; section chiefs: Wang Mingzhe, Sun Xiaodong, Cheng and Sun (female, in charge of tapping Dafa practitioners' cell phones and pagers); head of computer section: Chen Dong. These perpetrators are very familiar with the names of Dafa practitioners in Qingdao City, and are currently trying to arrest practitioners Su Jun, Wang Qingping and others.

2. Qingdao City "610 Office" is located at No. 34 Mingxia Road, Qingdao City. As the evil forces continually degenerate, not many practitioners are detained here, and the ones that are there are very determined and firmly resist the persecution. However, the vicious thugs of "610 Office" often hold secret meetings here to scheme the persecution in Qingdao City. The thugs call this place their headquarters.

Persons in charge: head of the office: Wang Hongjun; deputy head: Geng Shixiang; Wang, head of Prosecutor Division; other thugs include Sun Guimin, Sun Tongtai and Hu Jun.

3. Qingdao City National Security Bureau. In 2001, many practitioners, including He Jun, were arrested by thugs from the National Security Bureau, and they were detained at a navy base. Later, they were illegally sent to a forced labor camp. Division head: Liu.

The National Security Bureau is primarily in charge of monitoring Dafa practitioners abroad and monitoring the Internet, cell phone and pager activities of practitioners in China.

4. Qingdao City Dashan Detention Center. Practitioners are illegally detained here. Female practitioners illegally arrested in five counties and seven districts in the surrounding areas of Qingdao, including Jiaonan, Jiaozhou, Jimuo, Pingdu and Laixi, are first sent to the Dashan Detention Center. The thugs then send them to labor camps or prisons for further persecution. Male practitioners from four districts in Qingdao City are also illegally detained here.

5. Qingdao City Licun Forced Labor Camp. Nearly 300 male practitioners are illegally detained here. Female practitioners are sent to Zibo City, Wangcun or Jinan City Female Labor Camp. According to an incomplete estimate, nearly 1,000 practitioners were illegally sent to labor camps in the Qingdao area.

6. Weibei Jail is located in Weifang City, Shandong Province. This place is notorious for detaining heavy penalty criminals, and now it's particularly used to persecute Dafa practitioners. Currently, male practitioners in the Qingdao area illegally sentenced to prison are sent here and female practitioners are sent to Jinan City Female Prison. According to an incomplete estimate, more than 20 practitioners were illegally sentenced to prison in Qingdao City.
