The Persecution of Falun Gong Practitioners in Wangcun Forced Labor Camp
(Clearwisdom.net August 4, 2003) The illegal persecution of Falun Gong by Jiang's regime has
often been extremely cruel. Below are several incidents of inhumane cruelty that occurred in the
Wangcun Forced Labor Camp: Both parents illegally detained in Forced Labor Camp, leaving young children unattended. Zhang Shuzhong, a Falun Gong practitioner from Jinan City, Shandong Province, was detained in the
labor camp with his wife. Their five-year old child was left with no competent adult to care for
him, so he had to stay with his grandmother, who is over 70 years old. Jining Falun Gong practitioner, Wang Qinghua, and his wife were both sentenced to forced labor
camp, leaving their 12 year-old and 8 year-old children home alone with no care at all. They have to
take care of themselves. Father and son both illegally sentenced to forced labor camp, but not allowed to visit, even
during the New Year holiday In the Wangcun Labor Camp in Shandong Province, many pairs of fathers and sons are detained
together. Some of them are in the same group. However, because of their firm belief in Falun Gong,
they are not allowed to visit each other, even during the New Year holiday. The police openly shouted that the purpose of the labor camp is to crush the body and eliminate
the victim's will within a short period of time In the Wangcun Forced Labor Camp in Shandong Province, policemen Zheng Wanli, Zhao Yongming, Shan
Weiye and others announced at a meeting for new attendees, "The purpose of this labor camp is
to crush your body and eliminate your will within a short period of time, so that you will no longer
practice Falun Gong when you leave."
