"Lawsuit Against Jiang Zemin" Was Broadcasted on SinoSat

(Clearwisdom.net August 20) China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs claimed that Falun Gong broadcasted programs promoting Falun Gong on various provincial TV stations a number of times last week via satellite. Boxun reported news from Voice of America on August 16 that VOA had received phone calls from the audience a few days before the Chinese official news, saying that they saw TV clips about Falun Gong accusing Jiang Zemin of crimes against humanity.

According to VOA, China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that at 9:05 p.m. on August 12th and at 8:23 p.m. on August 13^th, SinoSat received TV programs about Falun Gong. In fact, a few days before the Chinese official news came out, VOA had already received a message from a listener in Inner Mongolia, which said that he saw pictures about Falun Gong accusing Jiang Zemin of crimes while he was watching China's Educational TV Station. He said, "It was very strange. At about 9:10 p.m., pictures on China's Educational Channel 1 suddenly stopped. Then, at 9:15 p.m., an image of CCTV4 appeared; on the left were pictures of Falun Gong practitioners doing Falun Gong exercises and on the right it showed ten big crimes of Jiang Zemin, including selling out national territory and instigating his son to engage in illegal business activities.

According to the report, overseas Falun Gong practitioners have yet to verify the news.

According to a news report from the Falun Dafa Information Center on August 6^th, earlier in the month Falun Gong practitioners had broadcast on local TV channels in suburban areas in South China a video about the brutal governmental persecution of Falun Gong. This program was accomplished via high frequency transmitters, and several hundred thousand people watched the video program. Falun Dafa spokesperson Zhang Erping said, "This is an act by Falun Gong practitioners, who suffered severe persecution and yet who had nowhere to redress an injustice, to break through the information blockade by the Chinese authorities and to clarify the facts via peaceful means."

Boxun also mentioned in a report on August 16^th that in the past year, overseas Falun Gong practitioners in countries such as the United States and several European countries have filed lawsuits against Jiang Zemin, accusing him of torture, genocide and crimes against humanity.
