Letter from the Belgium Falun Dafa Association to the Chinese Embassy in Belgium

Dear staff of the Chinese embassy,

Falun Gong practitioners in Belgium, and our lawyer Mr. Georges-Henri Beauthier, filed and initiated a lawsuit charging former Chinese leader Jiang Zemin and two of his senior aides, for genocide, torture and crimes against humanity. This is another lawsuit against Jiang and his followers for the persecution of Falun Gong together with the lawsuits in USA, France and other countries.

The lawsuit charged Jiang and his followers with numerous atrocious crimes that deprive millions of people of their human rights. However, it was not launched against the government of China.

Because of his personal jealousy, Jiang Zemin ignored the just and objective government investigation results concerning Falun Gong, repudiated the resolution of the Prime Minister, pushed aside opposition from members of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau, and mandated the "610 office" (a Gestapo-like organisation in China) and the forces of the whole state to start a unprecedented persecution of Falun Gong. His doing so violated the constitution and criminal law of China and also violated International Laws.

This campaign, aiming at eliminating the belief in Truth, Compassion and Tolerance, indulges lies, evilness and atrocity. It undermines the morality and belief of human beings as well as trampling on human rights severely. Around one hundred million Falun Gong people have become the target of the systematical murder, torture, brainwashing and other cruel persecution. How evil it is!

Approximately eight hundred people have been confirmed dead from this persecution in the last four years. However, it is said that the real number of deaths is anything up to several thousand. There are several thousand people being detained and tortured in mental hospitals; over one hundred thousand people have been sent to forced labour camps without trial. However, all the figures shown here are obtained by breaking through the information blockade created by Jiang Zemin to prevent the truth being exposed. Falun Gong practitioners overseas are also harassed and persecuted systematically by the Chinese government under Jiang. Jiang uses one fourth of the financial resource of the state to reach his evil goal to eliminate Falun Gong.

Jiang makes full use of the nation's propaganda machine to slander, demonise and fabricate charges against Falun Gong while trying his best to prevent his crimes from being exposed. He incessantly instigates hatred of Falun Gong from innocent people. The self-immolation case was a typical fabricated story created to demonise Falun Gong. All of those lies poisoned many innocent people. As a consequence, some of them did wrongdoing and even committed crimes against Falun Gong practitioners.

Working in Chinese consulates, you are direct victims of Jiang's policy. For the temptation of benefits, you gave in to Jiang's power and committed human rights abuses, persecution, and calumny of Falun Gong. We really hope that you may conduct yourself well in the campaign against good people and justice, for your state, your nation and also your future. We expect that you will not follow the dictator who committed horrible crimes against the human race.

What Jiang is doing destroys the stability of society and damages the benefits of people and the state. He cannot even represent China's government let alone the nation.

According to the law, Belgian Falun Gong practitioners are going to send Jiang and his followers to trial. People will get a chance to make clear his crimes against Falun Gong and the cruel persecution launched by him, so as to see through his evil facade and help end the disaster facing the Chinese people and even all human beings.
