From March to July of this year, at least 17 truth-clarifying material sites and many practitioners' temporary living places (they became homeless and destitute due to persecution) in the Harbin area were searched. Many practitioners were arrested and many practitioners' homes were searched as well. Police stayed in these practitioners' homes and arrested many other practitioners who went to visit them. Due to this incident there was a great loss of equipment and funds. In early July, undercover police shadowed quite a few practitioners and watched the places where they lived.

According to reliable resources, the "610 Office" and the Public Security Bureau in Dalian City issued a secret order for a large-scale search of Falun Gong practitioners to be conducted in the whole city on July 28 (Monday).

Ms. Sun, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Shoushan Township of Liaoyang City was illegally arrested while at home on July 17, 2003. Her whereabouts are currently unknown.

On the morning of July 20, a wired Dongfeng Brand container truck appeared. This truck was military green and had no license plates. On top of the driver's cab, there was a camera installed which could rotate automatically. On the rear part of the container, there was an aerial antenna about 1.8 meters in diameter. The entire truck was about 5.5 meters in length and 2 meters in width. Besides the driver in the cab, there were about three people working inside the truck. The equipment inside the truck made a loud noise.

On the morning of July 20, a camera installed between Yuhua Road at Xi'erhuan and Chang'an Road was seen panning towards the buildings on the right side of the road. According to the loud noise that the camera made, we think that it has a great amount of power and is able to scan quite a distance.

On June 14, Ru Ruixin was arrested after her home was searched. Police from the Politics and Security Section of the municipal Public Security Bureau detained her and did four more searches of her home. She is being detained in the Jingzhou Detention Center.

The local "610 Office" had detained Li Shiwu in the Qinhuangdao Detention Center for over ten days. He was released later after a hunger strike. Near the end of June, the Qiaodongli Police Substation at Hangang District lied to him to get him to the police substation. On the afternoon of that day, without any legal procedure, the No.1 Department of the Qinhuangdao Public Security Bureau sent him directly to Tangshan Forced Labor Camp.

The "610 Office" and the Public Security Bureau in Fugou County arrested many Falun Dafa practitioners recently.

Around July 20, Pei Zhonghua, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Suizhong County of Huludao City, finished the term of forced labor that had been imposed on him two years ago. His family members went to pick him up several times. However, the labor camp didn't release him. Currently, he is still being detained.

The "610 Office" in Daqing Petroleum Administrative Bureau is one of the bases that Jiang's criminal regime set up in Daqing City in an attempt to discredit Falun Dafa and persecute Falun Dafa practitioners. It is also one of the organizers of the Hongxing Brainwashing Center. Recently, the "610 Office" held a so-called training course for staff in charge of persecuting Falun Dafa in each work unit. They used fabricated materials and videos that contained lies discrediting Falun Dafa for the purpose poisoning these people's minds against Falun Dafa and convincing them to participate in the persecution. On July 17, 2003, police from the Tianjingjie Police Substation arrested 58 year old Falun Dafa practitioner Sun Lixian. His family members were threatened and on July 21, he was sent to the Yaojia Detention Center.

60-year-old Li Zhimei from Shunshui Street of Xiangfang District, Harbin City, is blind. On June 9, 2003, while she was putting up a sticker she made that reads "Falun Dafa is good," someone reported her to the police. The Xiangfang Police Substation arrested her and sent her to the No.2 Detention Center in Harbin City. Her current situation is unknown.

On May 7, 2003, policeman Liu Ximing arrested Teng Lianjing (female), Liu Guozhi (male), Yu Yue (female), and a four-year-old child at Taiping Lihua Residential Area of Harbin City. Liu Ximing's cell phone number is 86-451-5687533, and his office phone number is 86-451-2543482.

On May 15, Mr. Hong Baojia, a Falun Dafa practitioner, was arrested while at home.

On November 6, 2002, Zhang Limei, a 48-year-old primary school teacher, was arrested at school. The Taihe Public Security Branch detained her in the No.1 Detention Center in Jinzhou City. On December 13, 2002, the Taihe District Court sentenced Zhang to a jail term of three and a half years. Li Lihui was the presiding judge. In early April of 2003, Zhang Limei was transferred to the Shenyang Soap General Plant, which is run by Shenyang Dabei Prison.

In early July, Ms. Hu Yansheng, a Falun Dafa practitioner from the Dongfeng Truck Company in her sixties, was reported to the police while distributing truth-clarifying materials. She is currently being detained in the No.1 Detention Center in Shiyan City.

Practitioner Li Aihua is from the Wuqi Factory of Anlu City. In early July, the "610 Office" and the Public Security Bureau illegally arrested her and sent her to a brainwashing class in Wuhan City.

Yao Xichong, had been detained in the No.1 Detention Center in Jingmeng City from the end of 2002 until June 30, 2003. Then he was sent to Fanjiatai Prison at Shayang in Hubei Province for a three-year term of forced labor.

Yu Shilin was forcibly abducted by a group of people waiting by the stairs of the building he lives in around 6:00 a.m. on June 30, 2003. It has been learned that Chen Yonggui, vice municipal Party Secretary of Jingmeng City, had Yu Shilin sent to a brainwashing class.

Practitioner Peng Yaxin from the Petroleum Chemistry General Plant in Jingmeng City was arrested as well.
