Grasp Every Opportunity for Clarifying the Truth

(Clearwisdom.net) After listening to Master's lecture at the recent Washington D.C. Fa conference, we all gained more firm confidence in cultivation, saving sentient beings, and walking our path well. The activities in D.C. also provided me - a person who usually doesn't directly clarify the truth to people - many opportunities to approach people and clarify the truth face to face.

There were many passengers on the subway train. I distributed truth-clarifying materials one by one and told them that Jiang's regime in China persecutes Falun Gong practitioners who cultivate "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance," and over one thousand practitioners had been tortured to death. I also told them that U.S. citizen Dr. Charles Li is illegally jailed in China, and that we hope that all kind-hearted people would call for an end to the persecution. The people I talked to were all willing to accept the flyers, and some even asked where and when our activities would be. Later, a practitioner came up and stopped me, saying that we could not distribute materials in the subway. I stopped, but felt grievance and puzzlement in my mind. A family member reminded me to search inward. I realized that if I could have rationally exchanged understandings with that practitioner, this issue could have been better resolved.

On our way back to my country, there were many passengers, both Chinese and Westerners, at the airport terminal. This was a good opportunity for truth clarification; however, when I looked around I found that other practitioners were not taking any action. Thoughts of comfort and fear surfaced. I then started to send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the bad thoughts. I also thought of what Master said at this Fa conference about the most fundamental reason for a being to come to the human world, and my righteous thoughts came out. When I distributed the materials, some Chinese accepted and some said they were not interested; however, when I clarified the truth, they all listened. The western people I talked to all showed concern upon hearing the human rights violation issues. Later on, practitioners started to do the exercises, which made the whole field more peaceful and serene. Many Chinese were watching, and more were willing to accept our materials.

I realized that there is no absolute boundary in Dafa work. It is not that I do one thing and others do other things. As long as we enlighten to the fact that this is an opportunity to save sentient beings, we should all take the initiative to do it. As long as we have the righteous thoughts to assimilate to the Fa and to break through the self and upgrade, even for things that appear difficult, Master will arrange and endow us with the wisdom to deal with them well.
