Chinese media fabricated reports about Falun Gong practitioners poisoning
people. After hearing the news, a practitioner went to work the next day and
tried to clarify the truth to a coworker, Ms. Zhang. Ms. Zhang replied,
"You don't need to say anymore. I know they are lying! ... Isn't it clear,
Falun Gong is against killing, how can anyone cultivate after poisoning so many
people to death-- The Party has been framing Falun Gong for a while, such as the
Tiananmen self-immolation case, the crazy Fu Yibin killing people, etc. All the
stories in the news that frame Falun Gong are lies!"

overheard the storeowner talking to a few customers, "Did you know the TV
is bad-mouthing Falun Gong again--" "It claimed they [Falun Gong
practitioners] poisoned a dozen people."
"In the past few years, newspapers and TV reports lie all the time.
Blaming Falun Gong for all the bad things. Who could believe it!--"
