Kansas, USA: A Busy Day for Dafa Practitioners (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net September 9^th report:) September 6, 2003 was a busy day for Dafa practitioners in Kansas. With kind help from practitioners in neighboring states, we divided into two groups. One group drove to the city of Hutchinson to participate in an annual State Fair, while the rest participated in the 105^th Johnson County Old Settlers Celebration Parade, one of the largest parades in Kansas. After group Fa study, the practitioners participated in a Mid-Autumn Evening Festival event in a Chinese community to clarify the truth about Falun Dafa to the precious Chinese people.

This day, the streets in downtown Olathe were crowded with tens of thousands of residents watching the parade. Wherever our float passed, the spectators would give warm applause. They smiled and waved to us, and gladly accepted materials from the practitioners.

At the State Fair, practitioners clarified the truth to the state assemblymen and handed out materials to people visiting the fair.

In the afternoon, the practitioners studied the Fa and shared experiences. In the evening, they participated in a "Mid-Autumn Evening Festival" sponsored by a local Chinese Association. That evening, the practitioners took every opportunity to clarify the truth to the precious Chinese people. A Chinese person said to us sincerely, "So many years, it really has not been easy. The suppression is wrong!" An elderly man who came from China to visit relatives did not want to mention Falun Gong at first, but after practitioners explained to him the facts about Falun Gong, he happily accepted the Dafa truth-clarifying materials from the practitioners, and said he would read them once he got home.
