USA: East Coast Branch of the "Car Tour to Rescue Charles Li" Visits North Carolina (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) September 10^th report: The "Car Tour Around the U.S. to Rescue Charles Li" visited different cities in North Carolina and other areas along the east coast on August 31, September 1 and September 2.

On August 31, practitioners of the car tour arrived at the beach in beautiful Wilmington, and began our three-day journey along the east coast. That day happened to be the long Labor Day weekend. Crowds of holiday goers were everywhere at the beach. We set up our photo display boards, handed out Dafa truth-clarifying materials to visitors, and invited them to sign the petition for the rescue of Charles Li. Many people who learned about the Jiang regime's persecution of Falun Gong were shocked and showed their concern. We collected many signatures that day.

Early on the morning of September 1, we held a small photo exhibit and press conference in front of Wilmington City Hall to clarify the facts about Falun Gong. Wilmington's mayor came to the press conference and gave a speech. He also signed the petition. Local TV station 3 and 6 came to cover the activity.

On September 1, we held similar activities in the cities of Jacksonville and Greenville with good results.

On September 2, we visited four other cities: Rocky Mount, Goldsboro, Fayetteville and Sanford.

Looking back at the journey along the east coast, we visited seven cities, and local media in each one sent reporters to cover our press conferences. We were interviewed by seven newspapers and three TV stations. Currently, our car tour is traveling in the central areas in North Carolina, and we hope that we can do better to bring the truth about Falun Dafa to everyone.
