Spain: Touring the Country to let People know about Falun Dafa (Part 1) (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net, September 16, 2003) Spain was quite late before the country had any Falun Dafa practitioners. Even now, there are only five cities in Spain where you can find practice sites. Many people still do not know anything about the practice. Practitioners would like to introduce Falun Dafa to every city in Spain. In mid-August, practitioners from Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia, together with Portuguese practitioners, came together and spent their summer vacation spreading Falun Dafa in Spanish cities.

In one city, we went to the city hall to deliver an appeal letter and some materials detailing the persecution. Because the mayor was on vacation, the deputy mayor received us cordially. We told him that Falun Gong practitioners have been brutally persecuted in China and he expressed astonishment at how the Jiang regime has consistently committed such crimes. He thanked us for the materials that we gave him and also said that he will pay attention to the persecution in China and the lawsuits against Jiang that are happening worldwide. He also said that he would hand over the letter of appeal to the mayor, together with the materials we gave him. He parted by wishing us success.

Several Spanish kids came to learn the exercises and took it very seriously. A girl about three or four turned around to watch us practice. With a pure heart, she ran towards us to ask for a flyer and then gave it to her parents. Perhaps kids understand that Dafa is holy and solemn.

Two Israeli tourists expressed a great interest in Falun Dafa. They asked many questions. They finally said they would search the Dafa websites to read Falun Dafa books and learn the exercises at their local practice site.
