Zhoukou City, Henan Province: Dafa Practitioner Mr. Deng Quanzhong is Abducted Again After Spending Three Years in a Forced Labor Camp

Dafa practitioner Mr. Deng Quanzhong, 58, is from Chengguan Township, Zhoukou City, Henan Province. He was a refrigeration equipment maintenance engineer. Because Jiang's regime began persecuting Falun Gong on July 20, 1999, he went to Beijing to appeal in September 1999. He was arrested at the hotel where he stayed and was then sent to the Taikang County Detention Center. He was illegally sent to Kaifeng Forced Labor Camp in Henan Province for three years.

While in Kaifeng Forced Labor Camp, he suffered all kinds of abuse and inhuman tortures. From the summer to October of 2000, he held a hunger strike to fight for his right to practice Falun Gong. Because of this he was transferred to the Weishi Fertilizer Factory for forced labor. During his hunger strike, the police forced Deng Quanzhong, who was extremely weak, to do hard labor and to carry heavy bags of fertilizer at the workshop of the fertilizer factory. Using "an early release" as a reward, the factory conspired with detained criminals to beat Deng Quanzhong, force him to smell the toilet and torture him with the "riding airplane" (For a detailed description of this and other forms of torture used in forced labor camps, see http://www.clearwisdom.net/emh/articles/2001/11/24/16156.html.) They ordered inmates to forcibly cover him with five quilts during the scorching days of summer and thus almost killed him. He was also forced to stand directly under the sun on extremely hot days, and was beaten while handcuffed and hung up. He was also burned with cigarettes, and the marks are visible to this day. He lost his two front teeth while being forced-fed during his hunger strike. The police even asked a retarded inmate, who hadn't washed for years, to chew food and put it into Deng's mouth.

In fact, the above is just what we have heard from insiders. We don't know the full story at this time.

In fall 2002, Deng Quanzhong completed his full term, but the Taikang County "610 Office"* and the County Police Department Political Security Section picked him up without notifying his family. They confiscated his and Dafa practitioner Ma Xiangdong's "Release Certificates." Using the brainwashing class as an excuse, they detained Deng Quanzhong at the Taikang County Detention Center. During that period, his family made every effort to ask for his release, but the Taikang County "610 Office" and the Political Security Section turned down their requests, citing all kinds of excuses.

In June 2003, when the Zhoukou City Prosecutor inspected overdue detainees, Deng Quanzhong was approved for release. However, the Taikang County "610 Office" and the Political Security Section did not let him go. On the contrary, they requested Zhoukou City Police Department's approval to arrest and sentence Deng Quanzhong to prison. After the request was rejected, they filed an application to send him back to the forced labor camp, but again their application was rejected. On August 14, the Provincial Delegation came to Taikang County to check on overdue detainees. To avoid inspection, the county authorities secretly transferred Deng Quanzhong to Taikang County Detention Center in the name of "House Arrest." He has been detained there for more than 10 months. This is more hard evidence that illustrates the Jiang regime's devilish persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.
