Jiamusi Forced Labor Camp Refuses to Release Ms. Qiu Yuxia, Who Is on the Verge of Death from Torture

(Clearwisdom.net)

Officials at the Jiamusi Forced Labor Camp illegally imprisoned Ms. Qiu Yuxia close to one year ago. She is originally from the Shuangyashan area. Her life is in grave danger after suffering all kinds of cruel torture, but the officials still refuse to release her.

In early November 2002, the camp police forced her to give up her belief in Falun Dafa, and ordered her to sit on a tiny stool daily from 6 a.m. until 11 p.m. for more than 20 days. During this period, they also severely beat her, hung her by her handcuffed wrists, and stuffed a towel in her mouth. During May to mid-June this year, at times they again hung her up by her handcuffs.

Afterwards, her heart became abnormal and her blood pressure climbed to extremely high levels. She often fainted and suffered convulsions. Even under such conditions, handcuffs were still used on her for one week until she was on the verge of death, then they sent her to the hospital to be examined. Her blood pressure was so high that any incident would threaten her life, yet the camp police brought her back to the camp and lied about her condition, saying that her blood pressure was lower, and that there was nothing wrong with her.

Qiu Yuxia is so weak that she cannot care for herself. She has to be fed by others and carried to the restroom. The camp policewoman, Chen Chunmei, still insists that Ms. Qiu is only pretending, and ordered her to go to work as usual. Since Ms. Qiu can't move, Chen orders four people to carry her to the garage and leave her lying there, and carry her back at night when they finish work. Qiu Yuxia's life is in grave danger.

The camp police who are directly involved in persecuting her are: Mu Zhenjuan, Sun Limin and Chen Chunmei.
