Emeishan City Brainwashing Center in Sichuan Province Closed Down Due To Practitioners' Righteous Thoughts and Actions

(Clearwidom.net) Sichuan Province 610 Office [a bureau specifically created by the Chinese government to persecute Falun Gong. It has absolute power over each level of administration in the Party, as well as over the political and judiciary branches] established a brainwashing center in Emeishan City. On September 1, 2001, the brainwashing center held an opening ceremony. More than a hundred government officials from provincial, districts, city and county government agencies, including police from the local criminal police departments attended. They had arrested eight practitioners (seven females and one male practitioner). The practitioners refused to participate in the meeting and asked the provincial officers point blank: How can it be considered a crime to be a good person and to cultivate "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance?" Why are those who wish to be good people arrested? The officials did not have the courage to face the practitioners and thus made up the excuse that the practitioners could raise questions after the ceremony. Under practitioners' righteous thoughts, the perpetrators had to end the ceremony after a short time after videotaping only a few scenes.

When the tape was broadcast on TV, it repeatedly showed scenes of several heads of the 610 Office upon the ceremony stage. They showed the practitioners' backs only. They dared not show practitioners in full and from the front view nor the proceedings during the ceremony. After the ceremony, the practitioners asked to see the provincial official. To their surprise, the official had already secretly left.

In subsequent days, the 610 Office released ten prisoners from jail, dressed them in army clothes and named them "specially trained people's guards" to persecute practitioners. These prisoners were in charge of monitoring practitioners. Once a practitioner was found doing the exercises the so-called "guards" tortured him cruelly. A female practitioner was beaten up for not cooperating with the persecution. She was shackled for an entire day to an iron gate, was given no food and forbidden to use the restroom. An elderly female practitioner removed propaganda slogans and defamatory pictures, which slandered Teacher and Dafa. She had her hands tied up and the perpetrators hung her up on the window bars for several hours.

Being confronted with such brutality in the brainwashing center, the eight practitioners treated those fake "people's guards" with great compassion, and clarified the truth about Dafa to them. Several of these prisoners were affected by the practitioners' compassion and came to respect the practitioners. They therefore e told the practitioners the truth about the fake "people's guards". Under practitioners' righteous thoughts and continuous clarifying the truth, not one brainwashing session could be finished. The so-called teachers of the session were rendered speechless and could not answer the practitioners' questions, which exposed the persecution of Falun Gong. During the last month (in lunar calendar) of 2001, the brainwashing center had to be closed down. The vicious perpetrators who attempted to persecute Dafa and good people in the brainwashing center failed.
