(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioner Liu Chengjun from Jilin Province who was responsible for tapping into Changchun City's cable TV networks to broadcast the facts about Falun Gong, passed away on December 26, 2003, After learning the sad news, New Zealand Dafa practitioners went to the Chinese Consulate in Auckland on December 30 to hold a memorial for him from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.. One practitioner read Liu Chengjun's personal experiences, including how he was tortured to death and how his body was immediately cremated to hide the evidence.

According to the investigative report on Liu Chengjun's case from the "World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong" [WOIPFG] on October 29, 2003, Liu Chengjun once held a hunger strike in Jilin Prison and about 100 more Falun Gong practitioners detained there also held hunger strikes in succession. They protested the brutal persecution of all Dafa practitioners.

After the broadcast of truth-clarifying programs, it sent shockwaves among the Chinese people. Many people learned the facts about the persecution of Falun Gong. Jiang Zemin who directed the persecution campaign was very scared, and snet out a secret order to "kill [Falun Gong practitioners] without pardon." At least eight Falun Gong practitioners have been tortured to death because of the broadcast in Changchun.

The statement emphasized in the end that all murderers persecuting Falun Gong practitioners would be punished by law, with no exception for head criminal Jiang Zemin. All evil policemen and the murderers in Changchun City who persecuted Falun Gong practitioners in large areas due to the broadcast on March 5, 2002, would definitely be punished!
