Police Unlawfully Round Up Practitioners in Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia

(Clearwisdom.net) In December 2003, the "610 Office" ¹ of Chifeng City in Inner Mongolian has coordinated and colluded with the Hongwei Coal Mine Local Police Station, the Yuanbaoshan Town Local Police Station, the Yuanbaoshan Coal Mine Local Police Station, the Yuanbaoshan Power Plant Public Security Office, the Jianchangyeng Town Local Police Station, and the Yuanbaoshan Bajia Town Local Police Station, to arrest Falun Gong Practitioners in the Yuanbaoshan area on fabricated charges.

The practitioners who have been abducted are: Wang Daorong of Jianchangyeng; Yan Zhiqiang , a worker of the Yuanbaoshan Power Plant; and Wang Guisheng, a worker of the Hongwei Coal Mine. Wang Yanping of the Yuanbaoshan Bajia Town has been forced into homelessness. The details are under investigation.

Wang Jianfeng has arrested many Falun Gong practitioners during the past four years. Five were sentenced to terms of three or four years, and they are now being detained at the Huhehaote Women's Prison in Inner Mongolia. Sixteen practitioners have been sent to forced labor for one to three years, and they are now being detained in Tumuji in Zhalantun City and Huhehaote Women's Prison in Inner Mongolia. Nine practitioners have been detained at the Yuanbaoshan Pingzhuang Detention Center of Chifeng City, Inner Mongolian. Seventy-three have been forced into brainwashing sessions, and seventy-three have also been illegally fined for a total of two hundred thousand yuan² (preliminary statistical figure). Wang has illegally confiscated many Dafa books, lecture tapes, exercise tapes, microcomputers, telephones, and so on.
