(Clearwisdom.net) In order to bring about an end to the persecution of Falun Gong and inform Koreans and Chinese people living in Korea about the atrocities committed against Falun Gong by Jiang's regime, Falun Gong practitioners in Korea performed a "Symbolic International Trial of Jiang Zemin" that toured around the country. This is part of a series of activities in cooperation with Falun Gong practitioners around the world and human right groups to bring Jiang to trial in the international court.

Since the symbolic trial tour began in Seoul on December 7, 2003, it has been on stage and well received at three locations in Seoul and in ten other large cities. Media reported this activity in every city. When the prosecutor was stating Jiang Zemin's numerous crimes against Falun Gong practitioners during the trial in Pusan, a viewer in the audience was so filled with righteous indignation that he almost beat up the practitioner who played the part of Jiang.

The trial lasted one hour and twenty minutes. Three Falun Gong practitioners who had been victims of the persecution gave their testimonies sharing their personal experience. The audience learned the facts of the persecution first-hand.

Symbolic trials of Jiang Zemin are growing across the whole country like a raging fire. With one hundred and eighty-seven attorneys' signatures, Falun Gong practitioners in Korea filed a lawsuit against Jiang Zemin for genocide and other crimes at a local court in Seoul on December 26, 2003. This is the sixth formal lawsuit against Jiang following those in the U.S., Belgium, Spain, Taiwan and Germany. Information about the lawsuit had been distributed to all media, reporters and organizations. Reporters from World Daily, Korea News and other media attended and reported the press conference right after the lawsuit was filed.

In addition to the lawsuit against Jiang in Korea and growing number of symbolic trials, Falun Gong practitioners in Korea introduced Falun Dafa in various ways, including introduction to Falun Dafa on huge electronic advertisement boards at downtowns and advertisements at international airports and on freight vans. More and more people learned about the persecution. The Media reported frequently on these issues regarding Falun Dafa. Many journals reported the lawsuit and published introductions to Falun Dafa.
