Falun Gong Practitioners Are Persecuted in Jinchang City, Gansu Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Some government agencies and individuals have closely followed Jiang's regime to severely persecute Falun Gong practitioners in Jinchang City, Gansu Province. Among them are personnel in the "610 Office,"* National Security Bureau, and Police Department of Jinchang City.

One practitioner, Hou Youfang, a middle school teacher in Jinchang City, is confirmed to have been killed by authorities in prison. Nearly 100 others have been fired from their jobs, have had their personal properties confiscated, and have been detained or sent to forced labor camps and prisons to be tortured. Their family members have also been placed under enormous pressure by the authorities.

As of now, the following practitioners have been illegally sentenced to jail: Fan Yongcheng, Zhang Yonglong, An Zhanfeng, Wu Kaili, Guo Hong, and Hao Jun. Some of them were sentenced up to 12 years imprisonment.

The following practitioners were either detained or jailed temporarily: Mao Wei, Zhao Shenghua, Liu Zheng, Wei Anyue, Wang Yuee, Liu Ruolan, Liu Zhiping, and Su Jianjun.

The following practitioners are still being detained in the detention center: Li Guiying, Ma Zhigang, Zhao Fengliang, Li Dexiang, Shan Siyuan, and Cong Jinxia.

The following practitioners have previously been or are still being held in forced labor camps:

Hou Youxiang, Wang Shuhua, Wang Ailing, Ma Yuefen (legs were once broken as a result of beating), Lu Fenglan, Wang Shushen, Wang Shukun, Zhao Fengliang, Wu Kaili, Lei Zhanxiang, Yang Chengmei, Li Guiying, Guo Qunying, He Binying, Zhu Lanxiu, Fu Guiqin, Zhao Yueqin, Sun Ailing, Li Dexiang, Liu Guiju, Liu Guihua, Yang Xiufang, Wang Yumei, Bai Shufang, Chen Ligao, Wang Jinping, Yang Xiaochuan, Hao Jun, Zhao Peiwen, Ma Zhigang, Ma Yingjun, Chen Xuzhong, and Li Bo.

Some of the above practitioners were sent to forced labor camps twice and detained up to seven times. In the labor camps, in addition to harsh physical labor, they are beaten, chained and hung up in painful positions, or kept in small solitary cells. The torture means are too brutal to describe in words.

The following are some of the government agencies and individuals in Jinchang City who have been persecuting the above practitioners:

Nation Security Bureau: Xu Bing, Liang Bo, Jia Jun, Zhu Ximing.
Jinchuan Police Station: Meng Jiaxian, Li Tingqin, Li Xinhua.
Jinchang City District Court: Wei Congwen, Zhang Huining.
The Procuratorial Department: Wang Yonggang, Ms. Chen.
The Smoking Rehabilitation Center: Liu Guoli, Cai Jianjun.
Binhelu Police Station: Zhao Duopeng, Ma Yongguo.
Guangzhoulu Police Station: Li Peilong, Chen Guomin, Wang Jianzhong.

*The 610 Office is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political or judicial systems.
