The Precinct Chief Said, "How Can You Be Compared with Her? She's a Dafa Practitioner!"

On one occasion I had been illegally captured and temporarily detained at the local precinct by the city police. Shortly after arriving, the precinct chief told the person on duty, "You folks keep her company here at the office and don't put her in the detention room, it's too cold in there." Then he told me, "Don't worry, it's no big deal." He asked me where my child was. When finding out that there was nobody at home to take care of my child and that my child might be in another practitioner's home, he immediately gave me his cell phone. He said, "Give your child a call so he won't be worried." When I got my son on the phone, the chief said to him, "I'm the chief of the precinct. Don't worry, I guarantee you that your mother will be okay. Don't be afraid."

At the same time this happened, another detainee in her mid 30's at the corner of the room asked him, "Can I also use the cell phone, I need to make a call." He refused, but the lady argued, "How come she can make a phone call?" He answered, "How can you be compared with her? She's a Dafa practitioner! You actually benefited from her tonight, otherwise we would put you in the detention room, where you'd freeze for the whole night."

The precinct chief was not a friend or acquaintance of mine, but I was happy for him because he respected Dafa, treated Dafa practitioners with kindness and helped practitioners as much as he could within his power.

The next day, under the instructions of the "610 Office," I was sent to a detention center and unlawfully sentenced to a forced labor camp. Soon there after, I departed from the labor camp with righteous thoughts and again began the work of clarifying the truth and saving the world's people.

The City Security Bureau listened in on our phone calls; they were following and monitoring Dafa practitioners. A few of us were captured. I was sent to the detention room of local police precinct.

Because they had illegally arrested me many times, I knew all of the police officers and staff members there very well. Once I got there, different people from the precinct came to the detention room to visit me. I then clarified the truth to them. One of the staff members showed me a truth-clarification flyer, which had been made by us to let the public know the facts about the persecution of Falun Dafa. I asked him, "Where did you get this?" He answered, "I receive every new issue at home." I asked, "Do you read it?" He said, "I've read every issue and can see the truth from it." He carefully folded the flyer, put it in his pocket, and said, "I save every issue and I now have almost two hundred issues."
