Declaration

Due to lack of studying the Falun Dafa books, having a strong attachment of doing things, and thinking very highly of myself, I was taken advantage of by the evil forces under the persecution. In order to leave this evil place at an earlier date, I avoided the test entirely by making use of my human cunningness. I made a confession of how I managed to download files from the Internet. After I was released from prison, through studying the Falun Dafa books, I came to enlighten that trying to avoid the test through cunning means is the same as surrendering to the evil forces, and the confession of the deed of assisting the Teacher to rectify the Fa is cooperating with them, providing them excuses for having persecuted me. Fundamentally, it's a matter of not getting the evil out by the root. How dangerous! I was almost destroyed by the evil old forces. During the course of being persecuted, what I have said and written are completely not in compliance with the Fa, and my actions have let down Master, Dafa, fellow practitioners, and myself.

I hereby solemnly declare that all what I have said and written under extreme pressure and evil's persecution which is not in accordance with Dafa is void. From now on, I will come back to the mighty current of Fa-rectification, assisting Master and saving sentiment beings. I will double my efforts to make up for the loss that I have caused to Dafa, steadfastly cultivate Dafa and follow teacher closely.

Solemn Declaration

I started learning Falun Dafa in 1997, and was freed from the illness that had tormented me for many years. It is Master who gave me both mental and physical health. However, Falun Gong is persecuted under Jiang's regime. My home was ransacked, my son was detained, my family was threatened, and my normal family life was disrupted. In September 2002, the county police bureau put pressure on my company, forcing them to threaten to cut off my pension unless I stopped practicing Falun Gong and signed a "Guarantee Statement" [A statement to declare that he or she is remorseful for practicing Falun Gong and guarantees not to practice Falun Gong again, not to go to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong, and never again associate with any Falun Dafa practitioners]. At that time, my family was having financial difficulties, so I worried that we would not be able to survive without my pension. Consequently I left my fingerprints on the "Guarantee Statement." After that, I felt very regretful. Due to my momentary attachment, I was taken advantaged of by the evil forces. I hereby solemnly declare that my fingerprints on the "Guarantee Statement" are void. I will redouble my efforts to make up for the things that I have done in clarifying the truth, saving sentiment beings in the future, and I will cultivate Dafa to the end.
