Kind Actions of a Falun Dafa Practitioner Help Change a Person Who Was Tailing Her

(Clearwisdom.net) I started practicing Falun Gong in April 1999 and benefited a great deal from it. After the Jiang regime began persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners, we could no longer practice the exercises outside in groups. Therefore, I invited fellow practitioners to my home so that we could practice together. The local policemen searched my house and sent people to keep watch on me. They followed me wherever I went. During the times of so-called sensitive days (holidays, and the dates of CCP big events), these people would keep watch in front of my house day and night. The neighborhood committee sent people to watch my movements. If I went shopping they would follow me.

Our Teacher said "Remember: Wherever a problem occurs, that's where you need to clarify the facts. As for whether the result is good, don't look at the other party, it comes from your minds." (Explaining the Fa During the 2003 Lantern Festival at the U.S. West Fa Conference) One day a person in my building was assigned to tail me. She wanted to make an outfit for her grandson, but had cut the material wrong. I had planned to clarify the truth to her, but had no opportunity. I thought it would be a good opportunity to use my kind actions to change her. So, I told her that I would help her make the outfit. I bought a piece of the same cloth she had. I asked a practitioner who was good at making clothes to help me. At the time, it seemed as if my hands became very skilled. The outfit I made looked very nice.

I took the outfit to her. When she saw the new outfit, she was very happy. She said, "The outfit you made is really very good. You are really a good person." Her husband said, "You should pay her!" Then I said, "I don't want any money. I just simply want to tell you that Falun Dafa is good. Don't believe the lies on the television any more, because they are poisoning people. The self-immolation incident in Tiananmen Square and other homicide cases are full of holes." I explained to her, one by one, all of these cases. They were designed to frame Falun Dafa practitioners. She said, "This time I really understand. I will not listen to what the director of the neighborhood association says anymore. I will not help them, nor will I report practitioners. What you are doing is a belief. You are forced to step forward to tell everyone the facts, because you are deprived of freedom of belief, freedom of speech, and you have nowhere to seek justice. I know that when you put up a 'Falun Dafa is Good' sticker, you will lose everything if you are reported. I will not do such a heartless thing ever again. Thank you very much. Now I really understand. I have a copy of Zhuan Falun at home and I will begin to study the book. I really admire you!"

Before leaving, I told her, "Don't thank me. It's our Teacher who taught me to be a good person. Just keep 'Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance' in your heart and you will have a wonderful future."
