(Clearwisdom.net) Li Hongwu, a former staff member of the Yunnian Physical Culture Commission of the Haigeng Training Base, had been diagnosed with neurosis by doctors for many years. His mental and emotional condition varied in severity. On three different occasions, he attempted suicide by slitting his wrists.

In 1998, when Li Hongwu wanted to practice Falun Gong, the local Falun Gong coordinator explained to him why people with mental disorders could not practice Falun Gong. Around the same time, the explanation was also given to his workplace and his family members. Therefore, he did not practice Falun Gong. Shortly after Jiang's regime started persecuting Falun Gong in China on July 20, 1999, Li Hongwu's neurosis recurred, and he jumped off a cliff and died. With his remains, a bible, a cross and various Qiqong books were found. Jiang's regime used his death, which resulted from mental illness, to frame Falun Gong. While blaming his death on Falun Gong nationwide, they displayed pictures of his corpse at the bottom of the cliff. This has poisoned the minds of so many people who do not know what actually happened.

Today, we have a global effort to bring Jiang's regime to justice. Among us, there are former coworkers of Li Hongwu and the coordinator who had spoken to Li Hongwu. We will cooperatively work together in all activities of bringing Jiang to trial, and we will be witnesses, revealing the evil persecution of Falun Gong, and protecting its purity.
