Czech Republic: Clarifying the Truth On the New Year's Day (Photos)


On December 31, 2003, practitioners from the Czech Republic and Slovakia held a candlelight vigil in front of the Chinese Embassy in Prague. Practitioners meditated and sent forth righteous thoughts. People took notice and learned more about the cruel and illegal persecution of innocent Falun Gong practitioners in China. The activity continued until the bells rang in the New Year. Before the start of New Year's Day, practitioners sent greetings to a television station. On the following day's TV, Czech and Slovakian people witnessed the activities and came to learn about how the Chinese government has suppressed Falun Gong.

On New Year's Day, practitioners introduced Falun Dafa and clarified the facts in a well-known district of Prague. At every intersection, tourists gathered and practitioners handed them materials. One lady said that she already knew about Falun Gong and the persecution in China, and she wished us success. There were also some people who had not learned about Falun Gong, but when they heard the facts they were shocked and wished practitioners success. Many tourists supported practitioners' appeal and volunteered to sign the petition to bring Jiang to justice in a court of law.
