Persecution of Falun Dafa Practitioners in Guizhou Province

(Chearwidom.net) I wish to report the facts regarding fourteen Falun Dafa practitioners' illegal detentions, and the torture they suffered in Yangai Prison and many other detention centers in Guizhou Province. They are still enduring these inhumane tortures today.

Dafa practitioners Ms. Fu Xiuqiong, Ms. Wu Shunying, Ms. Xie Guohua, and Ms. Shi Zuohui from Qianxinan City were beaten on July 15, 2003 by guards Shi Jun and Jiang Faen of the city detention center. They were fingerprinted, handcuffed, and shackled before being forced into a car and sent to the Yangai Prison the next day. The shackles were left on their ankles for nine months.

After speaking out about the persecution, on the first day of the Spring Festival of 2002, Fu Xiuqiong was tortured, causing an injury to her forehead. Blood from her forehead soaked her shirt as she was dragged by police officers to Qianxinan City Detention Center, where she was detained for 44 days.

On August 26, 2002, Mr. Ma Tianjun and his wife Ms. Li Yi, and Mr. Li Yinrui were force-fed with hot spicy water, shocked with electric batons, and beaten with military leather belts by the guards at Xingguan Police Station of Guiyang City. Then Ma Tianjun was sent to Nanming Detention Center of Guiyang City. When he was interrogated, Ma asked to use the bathroom. The guards refused to allow it, but they beat and kicked him instead. After that, the three practitioners suffered both mentally and physically when they were deprived of sleep for six days, or over 140 hours. In Duyun Prison, Ma Tianjun was tortured to the point of paralysis. Li Yi was detained in the seventh Section of Yangai Prison. The guards there ordered some prisoners to pour human feces and urine onto the top of her head, soaking her entire body with it. Later Li Yi was transferred to the First Detention Center of Guizhou City. She and practitioners Ms. Wu Xuelan and Ms. Wang Shangchun were tortured with the "death board," which prevented them from having normal bowel movements. Li Yi, who is still being detained in Yangai Prison, doesn't know that her husband has been tortured into paralysis.

Since she disclosed to others that the prison guards tortured Dafa practitioners, Ms. Qu Jing was tied up with a rope and had her mouth sealed with tape. She is currently being detained in Yangai Prison.

Li Weihua was detained in Shuicheng Detention Center in January of 2004.

Mr. Lan Jun is being illegally detained in the Second Detention Center of Zunyi City. He was tortured by being forced to wear 30 kg (66 lb.) leg-irons. Due to the torture, he had so many bumps on his head that he could no longer lie down to sleep.

From March to August 2002, the guards of the seventh Section of Yangai Prison ordered prisoners to beat Ms. Yan Chengli. The beating continued for over six months.

The guards of Yangai Prison ordered some prisoners to drag Ms. Wu Shunying from the second floor of the prison building to the outside to be scorched under the burning sun. Ms. Wu's clothes were torn up and her body became black and blue. The guards even commanded the prisoners to drag Ms. Shunying around in a circle without stopping until she was so exhausted that she fainted.
