Hong Kong: A Western Practitioner Comes to Hong Kong to Clarify the Truth to Mainland Chinese (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) Recently, a tall Caucasian practitioner has been hoisting posters and distributing Falun Gong fliers at Hong Kong bus stations. Because he stands out among all the Chinese faces, his presence attracts a lot of attention. Sometimes, he talks with tourists from Mainland China and gives them Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials. His Chinese name is David Mo and he has been practicing Falun Gong for 4 years. Below is David's cultivation experience, and his explanation of why he came to Hong Kong to clarify the truth about Falun Gong to Mainlanders.

I am an Australian, and I have been working in Taiwan for 6 years. I love Chinese culture and studied Chinese in the past. One morning in 2000, I saw people doing Falun Gong exercises in a culture center. I did Yoga before and was interested in doing meditation. I felt Falun Gong was very peaceful, which is the thing that our society lacks; therefore, I started to practice Falun Gong.

As soon as I started to read Zhuan Falun, I came to understand everything that had puzzled me for so long. I found my goal in life. Though I knew some Chinese, the Chinese Zhuan Falun was still too difficult and profound for me to comprehend. I went to see my Chinese teacher and asked him to teach me to read this book. Therefore, he helped me read through Zhuan Falun once. Since then, my understanding of Chinese has increased very fast--just like Master Li said, that Western practitioners can quickly learn to read Chinese Zhuan Falun if their mindset is right.

My health condition was not so good before; however, I became illness-free after I started this practice 4 years ago. My major is computer programming and my job is developing and maintaining programs. When I was young, one of my habits was to play with computers and I also tried to develop some programs, though I was never successful. After I start cultivation, my wisdom and endurance has been constantly improving, and I developed some programs successfully. Falun Gong is so great. Cultivation helps me make my dream into reality. Now, I am healthy, fluent in Chinese, good at programming and have a high-income job.

The cultivation environment in Taiwan is very good. Practitioners practice and share experiences in groups and have helped me a lot in cultivation. From other Taiwan practitioners, I learned that many Mainland Chinese go to Hong Kong for sightseeing. While Falun Gong is banned on the Mainland, Falun Gong is legal in Hong Kong. Because of the brainwashing from the government-controlled media, most Mainlanders don't know the truth of Falun Gong and the persecution. Therefore, I decided to go to Hong Kong to clarify the truth to Mainlanders because Falun Gong has benefited me so much. When Mainland Chinese tourists see me, they are all surprised. People all know that Falun Gong originated in Mainland China; however, they never expected to see a Caucasian in a yellow Falun Gong T-shirt telling them the facts about Falun Gong in Chinese.

Being in Hong Kong, a precious opportunity for Mainland Chinese to learn the truth of Falun Gong thus has been created, and I hope that more people will come to take advantage of that opportunity.
