Former Deputy Chief of Pingyuan County's Chengguan Police Department in Shandong Province Receives Karmic Retribution

(Clearwisdom.net) Sun Heting was formerly the Deputy Chief of the Chengguan Police Department in Pingyuan County, Shandong Province. Since July 20, 1999, he followed Jiang's regime closely, persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners and defaming Falun Dafa. In October 1999, when he was the head of the Yaozhan Town Police Station, he violently beat practitioners who went to Beijing to appeal on behalf of Falun Dafa and fined them from 300- to 5,000 yuan [1]. The total fines of over 10,000 yuan all ended up in his own pocket. He detained practitioners in the police station, ran brainwashing classes for months, and monitored practitioners for very long periods.

In 2000, Sun Heting became bedridden due to an illness that affected his legs. At that time, practitioners whom he had violently beaten even went to his home to advise him to become a kind person. In 2001, because he was involved in a death case in Yaozhan Town, he was transferred to Koufang Village Police Station. But he would not repent of his wrongdoings. Instead, he continued to persecute practitioners, searching their homes and arresting them. Because of this, he was promoted to Deputy Chief of the Chengguan Police Department. In early 2004, he arrested three practitioners, sent them to the detention center, and forced their families to pay a fine of about 3,000 yuan.

Sun Heting was living an immoral life with a prostitute for a long time, and they both used to conspire to extort money from underground whorehouses. In August 2004 the two quarrelled. Fearing his crimes would be exposed, Sun killed her. Now he has been arrested and is awaiting sentence.
