(Clearwisdom.net) From October 15 to 17, 2004, practitioners held the
2004 Russia and Commonwealth of Independent States Falun Dafa Cultivation
Experience Sharing Conference. Practitioners from Russia, Ukraine, Latvia,
Belorussia and Turkey attended the conference.
During the three-day conference, the activities included experience sharing,
group study, anti-torture exhibition, truth-clarification in downtown and a
parade.

Up until a few hours before the opening of the conference, the Chinese
Embassy exerted various forms of interference. In response, the practitioners
clarified the truth to Russian government agencies, parliament, and media. Two
practitioners as a group visited members of parliament and government agencies
to explain the facts and expose the Jiang faction's persecution of Falun Gong
practitioners using torture. When practitioners showed photographic evidence of
the torture used against practitioners in China, people were shocked. The effect
was good and more people understood the facts.
On the afternoon of October 15, the sharing conference was held as planned.
Practitioners shared experiences on doing well the three things Teacher requires
us to do, truth-clarification and introducing Dafa. A concert was held in the
evening.
On October 16, practitioners held an anti-torture exhibition near Russia
National Economy Exhibition Hall, and held a rally to promote Dafa and oppose
the persecution in the Northwest region. Practitioners explained the facts and
exposed the Jiang faction's brutal persecution and murder of practitioners.
Truth-clarification materials, including video CD's, were distributed.
On October 17, practitioners held a large parade in Moscow. At the front of the
procession were three big characters "Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance",
followed by a large model of Zhuan Falun. A large banner with the words "Falun
Dafa is good," a waist drum team, a fan dancing group, a traditional costume
group and a group of practitioners holding small flags were in the procession.
Posters exposing the persecution and large banners with the words "Stop
Persecuting Falun Dafa Practitioners Immediately" and "Punish the Culprit of the
Persecution against Dafa Practitioners" exposed the unlawful and inhumane
persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.
During the conference, practitioners held group study and experience sharing
on the evenings of October 16 and 17.
