(Clearwisdom.net) The Falun Dafa Association in the National Chung Cheng University held a student orientation on October 6, 2004 as a follow-up of their participation in the student organization exhibit. The Falun Gong introduction video was shown at the orientation, and Dr. Huang of St. Martin De Porres Hospital and Falun Gong practitioners from Nan Hua University and Wu Feng College shared their cultivation experiences.

Practitioner introduces Falun Dafa to a new student

At the beginning of his speech, the faculty sponsor of the association told students that nothing was incidental, including their attendance in this new student orientation. He encouraged everyone to value this precious chance to learn about Falun Dafa.

A Falun Gong practitioner from Nan Hua University said that he used to have persistent headaches before he practiced Falun Gong. Neither traditional Chinese medicine nor western medicine was able to cure the condition. As his health started deteriorating from the side effects of the medicine he was taking, he started practicing Falun Gong and realized that it was karma that caused diseases. His headache miraculously disappeared as he gradually let go of his attachment to his condition.

Dr. Huang previously had insomnia, which both Chinese and western medicine failed to cure. He had to take pills go to sleep. He decided to look for a qigong exercise. After Dr. Huang learned the Falun Gong exercises and read a few chapters of the book "Zhuan Falun," he was able to sleep normally without taking any medicine. From a doctor's perspective, Dr. Huang also talked about the limitations of medicine, the relationship between qigong and medicine, and the difference between ancient and modern medicine.

Falun Gong practitioners from Wu Feng College and Chung Cheng University also shared their cultivation experiences and views of life.

At the end of the orientation, students asked about the persecution of Falun Gong in mainland China, and Falun Gong practitioners showed a video about the persecution. The video exposed the terribly inhuman persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, who follow the principles of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance," and pointed out that the persecution was launched because of Jiang Zemin's jealousy. In the film, Falun Gong practitioners from other countries clarified the truth about Falun Gong from multiple perspectives in hopes that everyone will see the nature of the inhuman persecution and help to stop it.
