A steady stream of people stopped in front of the anti-torture exhibit at Alamo Plaza, looking at the exhibit, listening attentively to practitioners explain the facts about Falun Gong and taking Dafa truth clarification materials. They were touched. Besides learning the facts about Falun Gong, they wanted even more to know how to help stop the persecution.

A middle-aged woman could not help having tears running down her face upon hearing that children in China also have been subjected to similar torture and persecution. She took out $50 to show her support. When practitioners told her that we don't accept donations, she could not help giving the practitioner a hug. Before leaving, she asked for a stack of materials to place them in her salon. She repeatedly thanked practitioners for letting her know of the persecution.

A woman came with her three daughters to ask some questions. One of the girls asked, "Do they (practitioners who act as victims) feel pain? Do they feel hot in the sun?" The woman (probably the mother) said immediately, "The persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China is much more severe than this." She continued talking to the girls about what the practitioners were doing.

An older couple who sell ice cream nearby was also moved by such a thought provoking scene. When a practitioner bought ice cream for her child, the older woman insisted on charging less money. When the practitioner insisted on paying her the exact amount, she became even more persistent. They asked the practitioner if they would come here again in future, the practitioner answered yes. They smiled happily.

When an editor from FOX TV Station asked practitioners about the activity and prepared to send reporters to come to conduct an interview, she called the activity the exhibit of "China's Prisons." Practitioners told her the persecution exhibited here is only the tip of the iceberg.

Nevertheless, the anti-torture exhibit indeed helped local people see clearly the darkness of China's prisons, where Falun Gong practitioners are being held and tortured, and the viciousness of Chinese police. Several young men were very angry at seeing the scene of practitioners being tortured. They pointed at the "Chinese police" and said loudly, "This is America, you have no right to treat these people like this!"

When a middle-aged man had a conversation with practitioners, he said, "Seeing all this, I can only say that I have seen the desperation of a criminal regime. They (Jiang's group) have been warned to not persecute their people, but they didn't listen. What they face is more loss."

He wanted the practitioners to convey his words to the practitioners who are suffering persecution, "What you only need to do is to hold on. Though the persecution is the shame of the whole world, your persistence will ultimately triumph over the evil."

There are not many practitioners in San Antonio, but practitioners from outside the city always gave much support in all previous Dafa activities. This time was no exception. Practitioners from Austin brought with them all the basic materials and instruments, and even brought their lunch and water so that the activity would not be interrupted at noon time. Everyone cooperated with each other. When there was interference and some practitioners were a bit worried, others would silently supplement with their actions and strengthen practitioners' righteous thoughts. Practitioners clarified the truth in a righteous atmosphere, tempered themselves and improved.
