Estonia: Falun Gong was Very Popular at the Mother Earth Fair in Tallinn (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) The Annual Mother Earth Fair was held in Tallinn, Estonia from the 9 to the 10th of October 2004. Falun Gong practitioners from Latvia and Finland took part in the fair; in addition to Falun Gong traditional Estonian culture and goods were also presented.

Groups of four to eight practitioners demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises, which had a noticeable effect on the surrounding. The exercise demonstration harmonized the environment and people became open and very receptive.

Several people came to ask where they can learn Falun Gong in Estonia. Some learned the exercises on the spot and wanted to have more information. Many children were keen on Falun Gong and they came over and over again to watch the exercises. When they heard about the persecution, which has already claimed over 1,000 lives, people talked about their own experiences under Communist rule in Estonia and felt that they could relate with the Falun Gong practitioners in China. They showed great sympathy and support for the practitioners suffering under Jiang's campaign of genocide in China and wished practitioners outside of China success in their efforts to raise awareness and bring these human rights abuses to an end.
