In August 2001, when my mother and I went to Beijing to clarify the truth about Falun Dafa, plainclothes policemen on Tiananmen Square abducted us and detained us for 24 hours. Then they sent me to Beijing Lugouqiao Police Station, where I suffered inhuman and atrocious torture.

Several policemen kicked me until I fell face down on the floor, and then they turned my head over and stomped on my face with their leather-soled shoes. Next, they placed several thick wooden sticks on the backs of my thighs and calves. Then they walked back and forth on the sticks, pressing them into the muscles of my legs. This cruel torture severely injured the muscles in my calves. My calves looked malformed, with some parts thicker than others and nasty black and purple bruises. This was extremely painful and can cause permanent disability when done continuously for too long a time.

In order to force me to give up practicing Falun Dafa, the policemen handcuffed my hands behind my back and forced me to kneel on the floor. Then they put one foot on my back and pushed forward while pulling up on the chain between the handcuffs. This causes extreme pain in the arms. This form of torture can cause broken arms, can separate the shoulder bones from the muscles, and can permanently disable the victim's arms.

Also, several policemen used electric batons to shock me on various parts of my body at the same time. At one point, while they were shocking my face, they put soap in my mouth. They called this "having chewing gum." They also put shoe-polishing rags in my mouth and cut off the hair at the front of my head to humiliate me.
