The USA Campaigns to Fight Terror While Jiang's Faction Promotes State Terrorism in China

(Clearwisdom.net) On September 11, 2004, the 3rd anniversary of the terrorist attack that shocked the world, people in the USA and around the world held various activities in memory of the victims. In the meantime, New York City mayor Bloomberg delivered a televised speech, calling on the whole world to join anti-terrorist efforts to ensure that such a tragedy would never happen again.

The 9-11 terrorist attack changed the political and social landscape of the USA, as well as that of the whole world. In short, it initiated a campaign, led by the USA, to eliminate the threat of terrorism.

Meanwhile, China has been going in the opposite direction. Take the establishment of the "610 Office" for example. Jiang's political faction formed the "610 Office" for the express purpose of eliminating Falun Gong. It is still pushing hard to spread state-run terrorism throughout China and even around the world.

In the 5 years since July 20, 1999, more than 1000 Falun Gong practitioners have died in Jiang's campaign of persecution, with cases distributed among 30-some provinces, autonomous regions, and cities. There have been at least 6000 Falun Gong practitioners unlawfully sentenced to jail, while more than 100,000 practitioners have been sent to forced labor camps, and several thousand more forced into psychiatric hospitals to be tormented with drugs that attack the central nervous system. Furthermore, large numbers of practitioners have been snatched away to prison-like centers throughout China for brainwashing. In addition to that, many more practitioners suffer from brutal beatings, physical punishment, and financial extortion by governmental personnel supposedly "to reinforce the laws."

In this campaign of state-run terror, vast numbers of Falun Gong practitioners have been beaten to death, have had their families shattered, or have been forced into homelessness to avoid further persecution. Millions of family members, relatives, friends, and co-workers have been threatened with brainwashing and other forms of suffering. If they did not openly denounce Falun Gong and "draw a clear line" [between themselves and Falun Gong practitioners], any one of them may be the next victim to be abused by the local police, the National Security Bureau, or the "610 Office." Furthermore, lawyers are forbidden to and dare not protect the legal rights of any Falun Gong practitioner or supporter.

To turn public opinion against Falun Gong, Jiang's faction use their tight control of the media to generate many lies, lies that are broadcast to the whole world.

With innocent people as their targets, there is little difference between the "610 Office" and the terrorists that carried out the 9-11 tragedy. Jiang's first priority is to abolish Falun Gong. If the practitioner remains resolute in his or her belief, he or she immediately faces the torment of savage torture. Practitioners are killed and the evidence concealed, and hidden from public view. Authorities then claim the death of the practitioner was a suicide.

Through their complete control and manipulation of the media, Jiang's faction covers up the persecution and murder of Falun Gong practitioners, painting a false picture of "education with loving care." Murderers are commended and rewarded by the government as "advanced workers". Meanwhile, they use financial incentives to lead western countries to turn a blind eye to the true situation. Thus, even being aware of the truth of this inhuman persecution, international society largely keeps silent about Jiang's group's persecuting and killing its own people.

While on duty on the streets of Manhattan, a NYC police officer spent several days carefully observing Falun Gong practitioners and their anti-torture displays. He later commented as follows: "Before 9-11, some people held parades in Manhattan that were anti-bin-Laden, but most people did not care about it, thinking it had nothing to do with them. But now bin-Laden is Enemy No. 1 in the USA. Today you are exposing Jiang Zemin and some think it is very remote for them. But who can guarantee the future?"

While condemning 9-11 terrorists, we hope that people will not forget the state-run terror that is currently going on in China. The basic and key point of fighting terrorist activity is to prevent it from happening in the first place.
