Falun Gong Practitioner Cui Fengqi in Tangshan City Dies as a Result of Persecution

(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Cui Fengqi, 40 years old, was employed at the Coking and Gas Production Plant for the Tangshan Steel Corporation in Hebei Province.

He became fit and healthy after he started practicing Falun Gong in 1998. After the illegal suppression of Falun Gong began on July 20, 1999, he continued to promote and clarify the truth about Falun Gong. He was illegally detained at his workplace many times. He was later subjected to abuse by the Tangshan City Number Two Detention Center, where he was seriously injured both physically and mentally. After escaping from the detention center, he was forced to go from place to place to avoid further persecution. In the meantime, the factory fired him from his job. After he returned home, perpetrators continually went to his home to harass and humiliate him, including parading him up and down the streets in front of his family and strangers alike.

Due to the physical and mental torture that he suffered, Mr. Cui passed away on October 15, 2004.
