Falun Gong Participates in Osaka Community Celebration For the First Time (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On October 31, 2004, the annual "International Exchange and Tour Festival" was held in Osaka Yao-Shi. The festival is hosted by Yao-Shi International Exchange and Tour Organizing Committee. Many governmental bodies and civic groups took part in the event, which is held to improve cultural exchanges and understandings between people of different nationalities. The activities included food from different countries, a culture show, and stage performances.

Falun Gong practitioners from the Kintetsu Area participated in the event by demonstrating the Falun Gong exercises, and performing the "Fairy Lady Dance," and other dances.

Falun Gong's performances won warm applause from the audience. When they demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises, the audience reacted very positively. Some spectators, both sitting and standing, followed the practitioners' movements.

Some local city council members attended the event. They happily accepted the truth-clarifying materials and listened to the introduction of Falun Gong.

Local peoples now have more understanding of Falun Gong and the brutal persecution in China. In the past, some people, particularly Chinese people, didn't recognize Falun Gong practitioners' truth clarification efforts, and some even questioned them. This time, many Chinese said that they wanted to know more about Falun Gong, and they condemned the brutal and inhuman persecution.
