New Zealand: Practitioners Attend 2004 Rotorua Christmas Parade (Photos)
(Clearwisdom.net) Christmas is approaching. Cities in New Zealand are
holding their annual Christmas parades. On November 20, 2004, practitioners
attended the annual Rotorua Christmas Parade for the first time. "Heavenly
maidens", a float and a waist drum group displayed various colorful aspects
of traditional Chinese culture. Along the parade route, local citizens warmly
applauded the procession. After the activity, Mr. Wayne, President of the local Kiwanis Club, the
parade's sponsor, said that he was very happy to see the Falun Gong parade entry
and expressed his hope that practitioners would attend other community
activities in the future.
