(Clearwisdom.net) In order to voice his opposition to the persecution and validate the Fa, as well as to ask for the return of his identification card, Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Chen Huagui of Wenjiang District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province went to see Hu Dongxiang, Head of the Shengzhen Township's "610 Office" on October 5, 2004. As a result, Mr. Chen received a severe beating in which three of his front teeth were knocked out and his eyes were bruised.

Mr. Chen's ID card had been forcibly taken away by Hu Dongxiang at around eleven o'clock in the evening on December 31, 2001. Because Mr. Chen and his wife remained steadfast in their belief in Falun Gong, their house was ransacked and they were fined. They were forced to leave home and become homeless in order to avoid being arrested and persecuted. Mr. Chen's family was torn apart and financially ruined.

In order to work in other parts of the country, Chen Huagui desperately needed his ID card. He went to the Township Government Offices looking for Hu Dongxiang. Not finding him there Mr. Chen went to Hu's home to see him. When Mr. Chen explained that he needed his ID card back in order to get a job, the "610 Office" head swore at Mr. Chen, and smashed Chen's mobile phone and bicycle. Then Hu Dongxiang repeatedly punched Mr. Chen and hit him in the head dozens of times with a wooden chair, causing Mr. Chen's black eyes and the loss of three teeth.

Since the persecution of Falun Dafa was initiated by former President Jiang Zemin's wicked political gang on July 20, 1999, Hu Dongxiang has been responsible for sentencing eight practitioners to forced labor, and illegally detaining dozens of people.
