Cancer Patient Given Three Months to Live Becomes Healthy after Practicing Falun Dafa

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong is a cultivation practice; it is not intended to cure illnesses. However, in order to help practitioners cultivate, Teacher will purify a true Falun Gong practitioner's physical body.

There is a couple that lives in the town of Dazhou in Sichuan Province of China. To protect their identities we will call the husband "Liang" and the wife "Shuang." During the Chinese New Year 2004, Liang began to notice that his wife was not doing well. She told him that she didn't have any strength in her arms and legs and her abdomen was swelling from fluid accumulated inside. Shuang was also experiencing increasing pain.

Liang took Shuang to a hospital for an exam. The doctor privately told him that his wife had late stage pelvic cancer and that she could live at most for three more months. This sudden news was like thunder out of a clear sky. Liang was frightened and didn't know what to do. Faced with the possibility that his two children (twins) might lose their mother and that he might lose his beloved wife, Liang was at a loss. He became very anxious and decided that he must try his best to find a cure for his wife's illness. As a responsible husband, Liang began to borrow money from his relatives and friends and took Shuang to the hospital. After some treatment in the hospital, Liang had already paid more than 10,000 yuan, while Shuang's condition had still not improved. On the contrary, her situation actually deteriorated. Liang started to have more worries and uneasy feelings because it was becoming very difficult to raise more money. Under such anxiety and difficulties, Liang suddenly came to think of Falun Gong. When he told Shuang about it, she agreed to try.

Liang went to "Li," one of his old acquaintances who practices Falun Gong, and asked to borrow the book Zhuan Falun. Li knew that Shuang had watched TV programs that defamed Falun Gong in the past and had made some defamatory remarks about Falun Gong, so Li was afraid that Shuang might not treasure the book and was a little bit hesitant to lend the book to Liang. So Li told Liang that she would try to find the book for him.

Liang realized that Li was not willing to give him the book, so he began to tell her about Shuang's illness and the treatment and how his family would be so happy if Shuang could be cured. Li decided to lend Liang the book. When she gave it to him, she said that Shuang should not just start practicing Falun Gong for the sake of her illness, but that she should improve her overall morality and character as well. She should also study the book without pursuing anything, and that Shuang would benefit from Falun Gong if she didn't try to seek something from it. Later, Li went to see Shuang and told her about the evil lies that the Jiang regime had propagated about Falun Gong and clarified the truth to Shuang. Li came to visit Shuang quite often and taught her the Falun Gong exercises.

Shuang happily received the book and said sincerely that she didn't know the truth about Falun Gong before and even admitted that she had said some bad words about Falun Gong. She asked Teacher to forgive her and said she would practice Falun Gong diligently from then on. Shuang began to read Zhuan Falun whole-heartedly. When she finished, she continued to re-read it over and over. Several days later, Shuang began to urinate blood, but Shuang knew that Teacher was cleansing her body. Gradually, the fluid in her stomach started to disappear and that raised Shuang's spirits.

Liang was very excited to see the improvement. He said that Falun Gong was really wonderful. With so much money paid for hospital treatment, he didn't see any results, but when Shuang had only started reading Zhuan Falun, her condition started to improve immediately.

Shuang continued to improve. She asked to leave the hospital but Liang didn't agree with her. He said that it would be safer for her to stay in the hospital. Shuang insisted on leaving the hospital and, on her own, went to do all the paper work to be dismissed. After arriving home, Shuang was even more motivated to practice Falun Gong. She gained more strength, studied the book, and did the exercises every day. She felt very comfortable and did all the housework. One day, however, Shuang's stomach began to swell again. Liang asked why, and Shuang said she was not worried at all, because this time Teacher was cleansing her body from the inner most layers, eradicating the illness karma from its very root. The second day, the fluid in Shuang's stomach truly disappeared. From then on, Shuang never experienced any illness. She felt much better than before. With a glowing face, Shuang started to smile all the time.

Those physicians who had treated Shuang before were all very surprised to see that Shuang was still doing well. Shuang's neighbors also said, "Falun Gong is a miraculous practice."
