New York City: Forming Chinese Characters in Central Park (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On November 23, Tuesday, more than 1000 practitioners formed the two giant Chinese characters for "Fa Rectification" on the east side of Central Park. The scene was very eye-catching even when viewed from several hundred meters. Many passersby from far away asked what was going on and why? When the practitioners forming the characters started to practice the exercises, one lady said: "So beautiful. The music is good and the sight is so beautiful. Why would the Chinese Communist Party persecute this group?" Many people couldn't understand and asked: "Why? Why would people be persecuted for doing meditation?" A practitioner told a pastor who asked similar questions: "Did Emperor Nero have any reason to persecute Christians? Did Hitler have any reason to slaughter Jews? Is there any reason to justify the 911 attack?" Holding back tears, the pastor said that evil never does things with reason--this is why it is evil! "From now on," the pastor said, "I will ask everyone who come to my church to pray for Falun Gong practitioners."
