By a Falun Dafa practitioner in Hebei Province

(Clearwisdom.net) On February 20, 2004, Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Yang Jianpo from Langfang City, Hebei Province was once again illegally detained and persecuted in the Kaiping Forced Labor Camp in Tangshan City. With righteous thoughts, his wife Nie Chunling repeatedly went to the police department, the labor camp, and the Appeals Office to clarify the truth about Falun Gong. Practitioners in Langfang City also worked as one body to clarify the truth to the local public. With the help of those people who know the truth, Yang Jianpo was released to his home on August 6, 2004.

While being held in Kaiping Forced Labor Camp in Tangshan City, Yang Jianpo went on a hunger strike to protest against the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners by Jiang's regime and its collaborators. As a result, his weight sharply declined by 50kg (about 110 pounds). Mr. Yang used to weigh more than 90kg (about 200 pounds). When he was released, his weight was only about 40kg (90 pounds).
