A Young Practitioner in Prison: "Please Tell Everyone to Let Go of Their Human Attachments and Step Forward!"

(Clearwisdom.net) About a month ago a practitioner came to my home with 1,000 yuan (1) in his possession. He told me that the money came from the child of a practitioner, who was still a student and who had been informed on and arrested while distributing truth-clarifying CDs. When his mother went to visit him for the first time after his arrest, he told her that he had 1,000 yuan, and told her where it was located. He told his mom again and again to take the money and give it to those individuals who make the truth-clarifying materials. The young man also said, "Please tell everyone to let go of their human attachments and step forward!"

When I heard this, my eyes stung with unshed tears.

Through studying Master's new article, "My Version of a 'Stick Wake-up'," I have seen many of my shortcomings: when I began helping to rescue fellow practitioners from detention , I could only see it from an ordinary perspective, applying the thinking that this was an issue of humans persecuting other human beings. I only took care of the immediate survival needs of those practitioners' family members who were also practitioners and did not use a cultivators' point of view to help them to stand against the persecution with dignity. Due to the fact that I followed others' opinions too often, some individuals did not report the news of the detention of their family members soon enough. Therefore, there were delays that resulted in preventing more practitioners from participating in rescuing other practitioners. Later on, when I encountered similar problems, I realized that the evil dark minions and rotten demons had tried to take advantage of our non-rightous thoughts to make things become more complicated, and so delay rescue opportunities. The more righteously we all act, the better the effects will be.

Based on my personal understanding, the fact that Teacher asks us to let go of human attachments does not only mean that we step out and clarify the truth. Letting go of human attachments also means we have to treat everything with righteous thoughts at all times, truly step out of the limitations of being human, and treat the Fa (2) as the first priority. A child, who has been loved and coddled by his family, who has never endured any tribulations and is now in prison, is still keeping Master's words in his heart. If we do not do the same, how could we face him in the future?
