Realizing the Truth, My Cousin Re-Hangs Falun Gong Banners He Had Taken Down

(Clearwisdom.net) Prior to the Mid-Autumn Festival, I went to see my aunt in the countryside. Because she lives so far away, I seldom visit her. I was shocked to see how she had aged. She was thin and stooped over, and her face, marked by life's misery, was framed with messy white hair. Her appearance filled me with unbearable sadness, rendering me speechless.

Although slightly surprised by my unexpected visit, my aunt happily invited me inside for a drink of water. After just a few words, she sighed and said that fate really teases people. Then she told me about the inexplicable suicide of her daughter-in-law and also about the burdensome loss of three months' salary that her son usually earned by working at jobs away from home.

After losing his wife and losing so much money, her son was quite miserable, and she felt miserable, too.

After lunch I started to tell her son the truth about Falun Gong. I began with how I had benefited from practicing Falun Gong. Then I told him the truth about the vicious persecution by Jiang's evil gang, how Chinese people are deceived by the lies, and why practitioners tell the truth and hand out truth-clarifying materials in the face of danger. Her son listened to everything I said very carefully. Then he went over to an apple basket in another part of the room. The basket was half full of Falun Gong banners. The son said guiltily, "I really didn't know what Falun Gong was, and now I have ignorantly gone against it."

As it turned out, the county government had assigned him the task of removing Falun Gong banners and posters from public areas. He had been praised and rewarded for his "excellent" job of removing banners in the region under his charge, but other areas of his life were full of troubles, from small disasters to the death of his wife. Recently he had lost money, and the fateful disasters were increasing. I told him that, according to the heavenly principles, every person, without exception, would be punished or rewarded for their actions. So as a human being, he should act according to heaven's will. Today Falun Dafa is welcomed around the world. Only in China is it persecuted. We should think carefully about this fact. (Yet humans are living in delusion, and they don't think.) I repeatedly warned my cousin that Falun Dafa is the universal law and he should not be against it, let alone do bad things to it. My cousin suddenly realized what to do. "How come you are telling me this? I will hang up all the banners tonight. I want good fortune in the future, for myself and for my children. I will never go against Falun Dafa again."

I felt happy to witness my cousin's awakening.
