Policemen Put a Snake into a Female Falun Dafa Practitioner's Clothes and Beat a Seventy-Year-Old Man

(Clearwisdom.net) On June 26, 2000, policemen from the Wolong Township station in Linqu County, Weifang City, Shandong Province, abducted 10 practitioners from Wolong Township, including Mr. Zhang Minglian, Ms. Zhang Cuixiang and Ms. Zhou Xuehong.

The policemen tied the female practitioners to utility poles, hit them on their breasts, kicked them hard on their private parts, and yelled obscene words. What happened next was even more horrifying. Policemen Zhang Xinjian and Zong Peichen got hold of a snake. They lifted up Ms. Zhang Cuixiang's clothes and put the snake in! The villains later did the same thing to Ms. Zhou Xuehong.

Practitioner Zhang Minglian is 70 years old. After he started to practice Falun Gong in 1996, all his chronic diseases disappeared. On June 26, 2000, while Zhang Minglian was studying Zhuan Falun in his home, four policemen from the Wolong Township Police Station, including Liu Wenjun, broke into his house. They illegally searched his home, confiscated all his Dafa books, and arrested him. He was then taken to the police station. There the policemen hit his face with table tennis paddles. They also used plastic pipes, wooden boards and wooden sticks to savagely beat him. One night the former township Political and Judiciary Committee Secretary Wang Mingyang asked policemen Zhang Xinjian and Zong Peichen to beat the detained practitioners. Zhang Xinjian and Zong Peichen used wooden boards and plastic pipes to beat Zhang Minglian. Zhang Minglian recited aloud one of Teacher's poems "Tempering the Will" to give himself strength to endure the beating. Zong Peichen heard the poem and intensified the beating. Zhang Minglian was close to 70 years old at the time! He fell to the ground due to the force of the beating, but the two policemen didn't stop. They were wearing heavy leather boots. They kicked Zhang Minglian really hard until he lost consciousness.

Besides the brutal beating, the lawless officials at Wolong Township also extorted money from practitioners. Practitioners Zhang Minglian and Zhou Xuehong refused to pay their fines. Wang Mingyang instigated policemen to put them on a pickup truck, hang signs around their necks, and parade them around the villages of Wolong Township to humiliate them. When they got to Hongmiaozi Village, Zhang Minglian smiled at villagers who were standing by the roadside. Villagers welcomed him with warm applause. Two villagers on motorcycles even held up their thumbs towards him to show their respect. The applause continued even after the truck left. When they reached Zhangluhe Village, some kindhearted villagers saw that Zhang Minglian and Zhou Xuehong were quite hot on the truck, so they brought them two bottles of soda.

On March 26, 2003, when Zhang Minglian went to other practitioners' homes to give them Falun Dafa materials, he was kidnapped again by the Linqu County "610 Office" and local police to the Wolong Township Police Station. Later he was taken to the "610 Office" and detained there for 23 days. During his detention, he was often tied to a tree and endured severe beatings. During this time, his son and daughter-in-law were also detained. One day a policeman named Ma Wenming from the "610 Office" used a wooden board to beat him viciously in order to get him to reveal the whereabouts of other practitioners. Zhang Minglian told him sternly, "If you think you can get any information from me by beating me, go ahead." Afterwards, without telling Zhang Minglian, the lawless officials extorted 1,100 yuan from his family members before releasing him.
